As a mom I wanted, no needed to find a way to make more money from home. With our economy being the way it was I knew I needed to start looking now. First I will go over the process to determining what kind of job to find, then I will give some examples of jobs that pay.


1. TAKE AN INVENTORY OF YOUR SKILLS

What are you really good at?


2. SURVEY YOUR INTERESTS

What do you love? It won't be much of a job if you enjoy your side-gig


3. CHECK YOUR AVAILABILITY

You have to be realistic, you don't want to sign up for something you cannot realistically commit to.


4. DETERMINE YOUR NEEDED INCOME

Are you wanting a position for bills or just extra savings? Determining this will help to find the right position.



JOBS THAT PAY

1. START A BLOG


Blogging can replace your income if you are willing to be consistent, make negotiations, and grow your blog. Pay Range $1,000 per month

2. FREELANCE WRITING

If you enjoy writing this is a great way to earn an extra buck. Here is a couple different forms of freelance writing. Pay Range $1,000-$3,000 a month


  • Copywriting – the type of writing that caters to businesses, wherein you’ll write lead magnets, web pages, marketing email, white papers, brochures, and more. Often, the purpose of copywriting is to attract more visitors and convert them.

  • Web content writing – generally refers to writing content that is consumed on the web, such as social media content, long-form articles, blogs, and website pages.

  • Blogging – this refers to writing content for blogs. The topics and writing styles can vary depending on the client. In general, blogging is an excellent way to provide more information about the client’s product or service.

  • Ghostwriting – this is when someone pays you to write something and the credit goes to the client.

  • Press release writing – a type of writing that announces what’s new with the company, whether they have a new product or service to launch or have a piece of important news to share with the community.

  • Technical writing – this is when a person writes about a product’s features or method of usage in a way that is understandable by an average person.

  • eBook writing – refers to writing an “electronic book” for yourself or a client. You can write eBooks on a wide variety of topics and then publish them online

3. VIRTUAL ASSISTANT

Virtual assistants are remote workers who assist their clients in day-to-day tasks, from scheduling appointments, answering customer queries, email management, producing content, the list could go on and on depending on the person. Pay range is about $15-$18

4. PROOFREADING

Proofreaders are remote workers who assist their clients by previewing their products, blogs, emails, etc in order to ensure their items are okay to submit. Pay Range $20 - $40 PER HOUR

5. ONLINE TUTOR OR TEACHING

If you love teaching kids, then working as an online tutor or ESL teaching is a great option for you. You will be paid per student or per class but this schedule is fairly flexible. Some places will require a bachelors degree, high internet connection, and a computer with visual capabilities. Pay Range $15 - $26.

6. AFFILIATE MARKETING

Affiliate marketing is another excellent way to work from home and earn a lucrative income. Essentially affiliate marketing is promoting products you know, like, and trust to other people. You receive a commission when they make a commission through your link.
